Student Representatives' Council
Our Student Representatives' Council is led by a group of twelve senior counsellors from Year 6 elected by their peers. A representative is elected from each class from Years 2-6 to attend regular S.R.C. meetings where discussions are held on student activity organisation, charity fund raising, school assembly management and student initiatives. Two captains provide leadership to the group, which is mentored by a teacher.
Classes in years 2 to 6 select class representatives. Children in lower grades are considered too young to participate in the SRC process but will be involved through a designated senior councillor who will regularly liaise with both children and teacher, disseminating appropriate information from SRC meetings and at times seeking the opinions of the students, on matters under discussion.
